Pellet machine specification

 

Feed pellet machine is specially used to compress powdered or small granular feed into particles of a certain size and shape. These machines are very important in the livestock industry because they help farmers and feed producers improve the quality of feed, facilitate storage and transportation, and increase the digestibility of feed to animals.

Feed pellet machine is usually composed of several main parts:

1. Feeding system: responsible for evenly feeding raw materials into the granulation chamber.

4. Cutting system: Some feed pellet machines are equipped with a cutting device for cutting long strips of continuous particles to a predetermined length.
5. Transmission system: including motor, belt, sprocket, etc., responsible for the power transmission of the entire machine.

The working process of feed pellet machine is as follows:

- After the raw material is pre-treated (e.g. mixing, drying), it passes through the feeding system to the granulation chamber.
- The press roll begins to rotate, applying pressure to the material passing through the granulation chamber.
- The raw material is forced through holes in the ring die, forming particles under pressure.
- If the machine is equipped with a cutting system, the particles are cut to a specified length after leaving the mold.
- The finished particles are then discharged from the machine for cooling, screening and packaging.

When operating the feed pellet machine, the following points need to be noted:

- Ensure that the humidity of the raw material is moderate, too wet or too dry will affect the quality of the particles.
- Regular inspection and maintenance of machines, especially rollers, ring dies and transmission components, to ensure normal operation.
